The Kaapsehoop Wild Horse Festival 2019

Kaapsehoop Community invites you the annual festival held to raise funds for the care of the Wild Horses as well as for the maintenance of this special mountain village. Music, markets, food, art exhibitions, Springbok rugby big screen tv, entertainment.

The Kaapsehoop wild horses are free roaming horses that roam on the foothills, mountain passes and plantations of the Kaapsehoop mountain and valley. These horses belong to the wild and great work and TLC goes into caring for these wild horses. They do need human intervention at times such as getting vaccinated, injured (either by fighting, natural causes or speeding motorists/trucks) or general vet care. Which costs a pretty penny.

The Kaapsehoop Wild Horse festival is an all ages, everyone welcome Lowveld event that simply can’t be missed.
