It might be winter but it doesn’t mean we can hibernate like bears. Music and life do go on and I had the need to find a sunny spot with my good friend Jonathan Peyper. This bluesman might be young, but he has an old soul. Some of you might know him as the kid that jammed with Dan Patlansky on stage at Blue Moon one year. He also jams with Fake Leather Blues Band, Jan Blohm. Jonathan will be bringing out his first solo album this year.
In line with the latest technology, we at STM HQ decided to join the Sound Cloud family, and do a pod cast. Now if you are a non Afrikaans speaking person I have to apologize ahead for the full- on Afrikaans pod cast / Vir die Afrikaanse sprekende mense, julle kan lekker gaan luister waar ek en Jonathan gesels oor musiek, die maak van musiek en Dan Patlansky. Jonathan gee ook goeie raad vir opkomende musikante.

The Jonathan Peyper Blues Band speel Woensdag aand, 2 Julie op die Coca Cola Rock Verhoog by Innibos. Sy CD sal te koop wees na die tyd vir ‘n R 100 en kom ontmoet gerus hierdie “legend in the making”. Also if you are heading up North in August for Oppikoppi then schedule yourself for The Fake Leather Blues Band and The Jonathan Peyper Band live on stage at the festival.
